Harvest Celebration

Our annual Harvest soup day was held on 4th October 2019. The students in the Junior Room assisted Ms. Howard in preparing the vegetables for the soup. Ms. Howard and Ms. Carty cooked the soup in a big pot in our new kitchen and the smell filled the school.

We enjoyed a very appropriate assembly with Canon Yendall about the Parable of the Sower. Following this, we shared a big pot of delicious homemade soup (which contained a special ingredient from a certain garden in Knockvicar) and fresh bread from the bakery.

Our Harvest soup celebration is a very enjoyable tradition in the Parochial School. It is a special occasion where the whole school comes together and shares a meal. We reflect on all that we are thankful for: friends, family, food, school, and all our many blessings.

Happy Harvest!
