This Christmas Season began on 1st December when we opened the first door of our Advent Calendar. This year the advent calendar is an extra special one, as we learn each day about the story of Sami, a Syrian refugee, and his life in a refugee camp in Lebanon. The proceeds of the calendar, which was gifted to us from Canon Yendall, will provide much needed supplies to refugees like Sami.

We also enjoyed a beautiful Christingle celebration with Canon Yendall.  He amazed us with his beautiful playing on the piano of some Christmas carols and pieces, while the children learned about the story of the Christingle.  They thoroughly enjoyed making a Christingle to grace their Christmas table at home.

This Christmas season, we are thankful for all God has provided for us, the love we have for one another and the many gifts we have received this year.
