Some of our senior pupils participated in a Basketball Blitz at The Hub in Castlerea this week. It was a chance to meet children from all parts of County Roscommon and to challenge them on the basketball court. The blitz provided an opportunity for all to learn basketball skills whilst playing, such was the model used by the referees who engaged very well with the children. We completed our day with a well-deserved hot chocolate at The Bazaar.
